BIOGRAPHY

Emanuela Selestine Massawe is working as an Agriculture Officer 1 in the department of Food Science and Agro processing at Sokoine University of Agriculture in Tanzania. She is specialized in Food processing and preservation as well as post-harvest losses. She is involved in teaching undergraduate students, conducting research and consultancy on various aspects of Food Science and technology. She is also involved in the project funded by Sokoine University of Agriculture on the Tittle ““Potentials of Sodium chloride and Bicarbonate of soda in reducing pesticide residues on tomatoes in Morogoro, Tanzania

Ms. E. Massawe holds MSc. in Food Science and BSc in Food Science and Technology both from Sokoine University of Agriculture in Tanzania. She also worked with the Ministry of Agriculture as an Agriculture Officer in ensuring Food security by controlling post-harvest losses through food value chain.
